U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Matthew T. Takojeff, a scout sniper with the Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), fires an M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System at a simulated target during aerial sniper training near Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., Aug. 19, 2017. The 26th MEU conducted the training as part of Realistic Urban Training (RUT), an exercise designed for the Marines to gain operational experience in an urban environment prior to an upcoming deployment.
