Gunnery Sgt. Miguel Saenz, the battery gunnery sergeant for Battery B, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 8, salutes a battlefield memorial while taps is played during a memorial service, Feb. 15. The service was held to honor Cpl. Lucas Pyeatt, a member of 2nd Radio Battalion, who was killed by an improvised explosive device while on patrol, Feb. 5. Pyeatt was attached to Battery B, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment.
