(Aug. 16, 2017) Sailors assigned to Commander Naval Beach Group (CNBG) 2 watch as a lighterage system causeway ferry assigned to Beach Master Unit (BMU) 2 executes a beach landing as part of a maritime prepositioning force exercise (MPFEX). The exercise is geared to provide the team an opportunity to practice unpacking and preparing a ship full of equipment and transporting it to the beach to re-supply ground forces.
