    U.S. Coast Guard Northwest

    A new sign recognizing the City of Florence, Ore., as a Coast Guard City welcomes residents and visitors to Florence on Oregon Highway 126 near the Highway 101 junction, Aug. 16, 2017.

    The sign was put in place hours before the city of Florence was officially designated a Coast Guard City during a ceremony held at the Florence Events Center.
