U.S. Soldiers assigned to the U.S. Army Cyber Command salute during the National Anthem while conducting a Transfer of Authority Ceremony on Fort George G. Meade, Md., Aug. 15th, 2017. The ceremony signifies the first cyber protection mission transfer to an Army Reserve and Army National Guard Task Force comprised of Soldiers across seven States. The Transfer of Authority is a military ceremony which allows a seamless transition of mission degradation and recognizing the need to continue the Army's mission critical purpose.
