U.S. Navy Lt. Michael Roster and Chief Steelworker Brett Sligo, both assigned to Construction Diving Detachment Alfa (CDDA), Underwater Construction Team 2, monitor inside tender training at the Yokosuka Ship Repair Facility’s Dive Locker. CDDA is currently deployed to Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka to inspect and repair a pier in Truman Harbor. CDDA is on the first stop of their six-month deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
