Biologist Michael Voohees inspects one of the plants pulled up from the bottom of Cayuga Lake near Aurora, NY on July 17, 2017. The purpose of the inspection was determine the amount of proliferation of the invasive Hydrilla plant; the plants were later treated with herbicides on July 20, 2017.
