Burgos-Carpio, safety equipment mechanic with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121’s seat shop, stabilizes a canopy while being moved at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Aug. 4, 2017. The squadron’s seat shop Marines are responsible for egress systems and environmental controls and oxygen systems within the F-35B Lighting II aircraft.
