Army veterinarians in Tonga with Nev. SPP image 5 of 6

Lt. Col. Howard Gobble (left), the director of veterinary services for Public Health Command, Pacific, and Maj. Kimberly Yore (right), an Army vet from Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state, conduct dental care to a stallion stallion belonging to the Tongan Royal Guard, horse detachment, in the Kingdom of Tonga, July 19, 2017. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. Walter H. Lowell)

Since noone in Tonga was trained to handle, catch or castrate the stallions, the population of horses was becoming out of control.
