U.S. Army Cpl. Jerry D. Derrick, a sling load inspector from Mesquite, Texas, assigned to Troop D, 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry Regiment, Task Force Bandit, ties together a load of supplies at Forward Operating Base Bostick in eastern Afghanistan’s Kunar province, Feb. 6. Troop D soldiers have helped load more than four million pounds of supplies this deployment.
