FORT BRAGG, NC - Maj. Gen. Scottie D. Carpenter, Deputy Commanding General, United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) addresses Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the USARC Augmentation Unit (UAU) during a unit inactivation ceremony at USARC Headquarters, Fort Bragg, NC Sunday, August 6, 2017. The mission of the UAU was to augment USARC staff during exercises, crisis actions, or a Presidential Selective Reserve call-up.
