    VAZIANI TRAINING AREA, Georgia — U.S. Army Soldier Staff Sgt. Scott Lofgren, horizontal construction sergeant squad leader, 500th Engineer Support Company (ESC), signals to the operator of the High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE-I), at Vaziani Training Area, Georgia, Aug. 6, 2017. The two work to cover the ditches built by 500th ESC and soldiers of the 1st Engineer Sapper Company, Engineer Brigade, of the Georgian Armed Forces, to emplace wooden posts as an obstacle in a company-sized engagement area for a training event during exercise Noble Partner.
