170803-N-BK384-360 SOUTH CHINA SEA (August 3, 2017) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (fuels) 1st Class Leonard Zaborowski, a native of St. Marie, Montana, assigned to the Air department aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), stands by while conducting fuel operations on the ship’s flight deck. San Diego, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Asia Pacific region to strengthen partnerships and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
