Sgt. Robert Sushinski, a bandsmen and armory security Marine, with Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Forward), enthusiastically beats his drum during the 70th anniversary ceremony, Feb. 1. Sushinski, a French horn and drum player, along with his fellow bandsmen played their rendition of, “When the Saints Go Marching In,” “Brooklyn” and “Chameleon.” The band closed the ceremony with other traditional Marine Corps songs such as “Waltzing Matilda” and the “Marine’s Hymn.”
