Runners start their time as the whistle blows for the start of the Aramco Houston Half Marathon satellite run at Forward Operating Base Ghazni, Afghanistan, Jan. 30. The marathon was introduced by a Texas Agribusiness Development Team-IV member, U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Laura Childs. The race provided a change of pace for 147 runners.
