The amphibious command ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC/JCC 20) tests of the ship's salt water countermeasure wash down system. Mount Whitney is the U.S. 6th Fleet flagship homeported in Gaeta, Italy, and operates with a hybrid crew of U.S. sailors and Military Sealift Command civil service mariners.
