PACIFIC OCEAN (July 29, 2017) Sailors assigned to the Air department aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), connect pallets to an MH-60S Seahawk, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23, as part of a replenishment-at-sea on the ship’s flight deck. San Diego, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Asia Pacific region to strengthen partnerships and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
