A firing detail from 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment conducts a 21-gun salute at a memorial ceremony aboard Camp Leatherneck, Jan. 31. The ceremony was held to honor Cpl. Jacob A. Tate, Lance Cpl. Joseph R. Giese, Lance Cpl. Maung P. Htaik, all riflemen with Echo Company, 2/9 who were killed in action in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
