Coast Guard aids mariner after vessel hits object, sinks off southern Washington coast [Image 2 of 2]
One of two sheens potentially from the 45-foot pleasure yacht Sea Crest is spotted on the water the morning after the vessel collided with an unknown object and sank 9 miles off Leadbetter Point State Park, Wash., July 28, 2017.
An MH-60 Jaywhawk helicopter crew, from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria in Warrenton, Ore., hoisted the mariner from his yacht tender and safely transported him to the station where he was checked by emergency medical service personnel.
