Global Diving and Salvage personnel use absorbent pads to skim oil from the water after a 42-foot commercial fishing vessel sank while moored on the Hoquiam River in Grays Harbor, Wash., July 27, 2017.

Watchstanders at Sector Columbia River received a report from Hoquiam Police Department personnel that the vessel Perwyn, with a max potential of 800 gallons of diesel aboard, had sunk and there was a sheen on the surrounding water.
