Auditorium at the Regional Training Institute at the National Guard Training Center, Sea Girt, N.J., July 19, 2017, includes 10 state-of-the-art classrooms, an auditorium with seating for 225 students and 72 lodging rooms in an 86,000 square foot building. The $31-million dollar federally-funded military construction project will enable New Jersey’s 254th Training Regiment (Combat Arms), New Jersey Army National Guard, to train National Guard Soldiers from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont, in addition to up to one-third of the Region A United States Army Reserve Soldiers within assigned career management fields including the Non-Commissioned Officer Education System, Military Occupational Specialty Training, and Officer Candidate School missions.
