Naval History and Heritage Command Director Admiral Samuel Cox and Naval Support Activity Washington Commanding Officer Captain Jeff Draeger welcome three of the five remaining USS Arizona Survivors from Pearl Harbor to the National Museum of the United States Navy, July 22, 2017. Survivors Lauren Bruner, Ken Potts, and Donald Stratton toured the museum and received a behind-the-scenes look of WWII-specific aritfacts, rarely seen by the public. The National Museum of the United States Navy, located at the Washington Navy Yard, is the only naval museum to present an overview of U.S. naval history 1775 to the present. Permanent and temporary exhibitions commemorate the Navy's wartime heroes and battles as well as its peacetime contributions in exploration, diplomacy, navigation and humanitarian service.
