A wreath given by the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (Airborne) stands next to the tomb and headstone of Staff Sgt. Robert Miller. Family, friends, along with local and state politicians, and fellow team mates from the Special Forces Command (Airborne) gathered together to remember one of their own. He was awarded the Medal of Honor, Oct. 6, 2010 posthumously for heroism and valor in combat while serving in Afghanistan three years ago. The event marks the three year anniversary of his death.
