Chief Chantelle Byrd Colonel, NOSTRA, shows one of the many steps it takes to make a pair of eyewear. John Castillo, Wing Commander, 150th Special Operations Wing (SOW), and Command Chief Master Sgt. Brad Chambers, 150 SOW, are impressed by this operation and are amazed at the quick turn around to get the eyewear to the patient. All this is being done here at East St. John High school during the Louisiana Care Innovative Readiness Training mission on July 20, 2017. The Innovative Readiness Training mission showcases a multi-service and interagency expeditionary readiness training event, which provides medical, dental and optometry care at no cost to the community and surrounding areas.
