    Two MV-22B Ospreys sit in the “dirt detachment,” or forward operating position, in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Queensland, Australia, during Exercise Talisman Saber 2017, July 18, 2017. As a part of the Aviation Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced) set up the FOP in order to support the Marines on the ground. Talisman Saber is a biennial exercise designed to improve the interoperability between Australian and U.S. forces.
