Kosek enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2013 to experience the sense of camaraderie the Corps has to offer, as well as to ensure he made a difference in the world. Kosek is currently deployed with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, where he is a motor transportation mechanic with the Logistics Combat Element. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are deployed to Central America to conduct security cooperation training and engineering projects with their counterparts in Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.
