The image shows a helicopter captured in silhouette from a low-angle, ground-up perspective against an overcast gray sky. The helicopter appears to be a military attack-type helicopter, identifiable by its tandem cockpit configuration and stub wings with what appear to be weapon pylons. The silhouette view and motion blur on the rotor blades indicate the aircraft is in active flight.

AH-64D Apache pilots with the South Carolina National Guard, 1-151st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, partnered with members of the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3/17th Heavy Attack Reconnaissance Squadron, and Pennsylvania National Guard Soldiers with C Company to conduct advanced-level gunnery training during annual training July 2017 at Fort Stewart, Georgia, in preparation for mobilazation. The advanced training consisted of daytime and nighttime team qualification that allowed for the Air Mission Commander to make more decisions on how to engage target in order to develop communication and decision-making skills.
