    2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division

    Iowa National Guard soldiers from 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, a part of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, awoke Jan. 14 to find the mountains outside Forward Operating Base Mehtar Lam, Afghanistan, capped with snow following a rain shower the evening before.
