Pfc. Kevin Polk, a native of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, assigned Foxtrot Company, 700th Brigade Support Battalion was among the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team Soldiers who evacuated residents from a burning apartment building in downtown L'viv, Ukraine on 16 July.
Soldiers with the Oklahoma Army National Guard’s 45th IBCT are currently deployed to Ukraine in support of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine, an international coalition dedicated to building the training capacity of the Ukrainian army.
