Students graduate from the Observer Controller Trainer Academy at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center near Yavoriv, Ukraine, on 17 July.
Critical to the long-term success of the Yavoriv CTC is the establishment of an all-Ukrainian and self-sustaining OCT cadre. Over the last six months, members of the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, deployed in support of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine, have mentored the Ukrainian military on developing, managing, and sustaining a well-trained and enduring staff of Ukrainian OCTs. This class is the third iteration of the academy and also has the distinction of being the first entirely Ukrainian-led class. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Eric McDonough, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team)
