A Soldier assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) taught a child from Saint Jude’s Children's Hospital how to start a fire on June 30th at Vashon Island, WA. Over the course of a week, the Green Berets showed the children how to survive in the wilderness by teaching them how to build shelters, start fires, and administer first aid.
