    170627-N-TV230-252 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 27, 2017) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Equipment) 1st Class James Kopf participates in a boot shoot on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Boot shoots are a Navy tradition in which a ceremony is held for the departing shooter by launching a pair of boots off the ship by catapult.
