The West Virginia Army National Guard held registration for the 25th Anniversary Kids Kamp at Camp Dawson on June 25, 2017. Kampers received their team assignments and t-shirts before checking into their barracks and saying goodbye to their parents and guardians.
Kids Kamp first started in 1991 as a project of the State Fair Council, to give the dependents of deployed service members a better understanding of what their parents experienced, while overseas.
