USS Gladiator (MCM 11), an Avenger-class mine countermeasure ship, arrives in Bahrain Jan. 23. The ship was transported from Ingleside, Texas, aboard Condock V, a heavy lift vessel contracted by Military Sealift Command. Gladiator is one of two new Avenger-class minesweepers that will be forward deployed here in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO).
