A U.S. Navy MH-53E Sea Dragon refuels during a joint training aerial refueling exercise near Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 21, 2017. A U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252, refueled four helicopters during the exercise. Joint training exercises such as this allow pilots to gain experience and improve unit readiness. The squadron is assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 14, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing; and the four Navy aircraft are assigned to Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 14 and 15, Naval Air Force Atlantic, based at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia.
