Jagger Denys grew up playing hockey most of his life, but decided to take the opportunity to attend the University of San Diego in the Fall of 2017 to pursue a career as an officer in the Marine Corps. He received a Naval Reserve Officer’s Training Corps scholarship for $180,000 for being an exceptional student, athlete and citizen. He played for the Jr. King’s team in L.A. and received multiple invitations to play internationally after high school, but after being awarded the scholarship, he decided it was time to hang up the skates.
