Military personnel in combat gear are conducting a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) exercise or operation, preparing to load a casualty onto a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter hovering nearby. The casualty is wrapped in a gold emergency thermal blanket and is being attended to by at least three soldiers on open sandy terrain. Rotor wash from the helicopter is visibly kicking up dust around the scene.
