Friends and family of the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Waesche (WMSL-751) wait for the cutter to arrive to homeport after a deployment off the coasts of Central and South America, June 19, 2017. The Waesche returned from a 58-day, 12,000 nautical mile deployment in which its crew members conducted eight interdictions and seized more than 17,000 lbs. of cocaine with an estimated value of more than $266 million and apprehended 20 suspected narcotics traffickers.
