A group of U.S. Army soldiers in military uniforms are operating and maintaining what appears to be an M777 or M198 howitzer artillery piece in an open field training environment. The soldiers are actively working around the artillery system, suggesting a live-fire exercise or crew drill. The setting appears to be a military training range during late autumn or early spring based on the bare trees and dry grass.
