Darryl Hayes Sr., senior enlisted member of HHC, 1st Bn., 63rd Armor Regt., 2nd AAB, 1st Inf. Div., USD–C, and a Washington, D.C. native, salute a memorial honoring the memory of Sgt. Duane Gibson during a service Dec. 5 on Camp Liberty, Iraq. Sgt. Gibson, a former member of the company, died in a vehicle accident in Oklahoma Nov. 24.
