Greg Steenberge, 314th Airlift Wing assistant executive officer and C-130 pilot at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., flies over mountainous terrain on the final flight of C-130E aircraft 62-1788, from Little Rock AFB to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base's 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group in Arizona, Nov. 29. The aircraft was retired as part of a strategic Air Force effort to modernize its C-130 fleet with C-130J and C-130H AMP aircraft to meet the needs of today's warfighters in a more efficient, cost-effective way.
