MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER TWENTYNINE PALMS, California – An M1A1 Abrahms Main Battle Tank assisgned to 1st Tank Battalion stages at Range 200 prior to an urban assault exercise aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, May 15, 2017. The Urban Warfare Package, part of Integrated Training Exercise 3-17, is a platoon-level to battalion-size evolution where Marines practiced urban patrolling, leading up to a Marine Air Ground Task Force assault on an enemy held town. Integrated Training Exercise is a training evolution conducted five times a year to enhance the lethality and co-operability between the four elements of a Marine Air Ground Task Force.
