Sgt. 1st Class Erik Miranda, telecommunications operation chief, 518th Tactical Installation and Networking Company, 63rd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 35th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade, instructing a Soldier on the consequences of not properly defending during clinch drills. Soldiers are instructed to keep their guard above their face blocking the throat and face charging the enemy to close space between them and their attacker so they can attempt a take down or subdue their opponent with a clinch.
