Sgt. Brian Curd, of Woodstock, Ill., Combat Engineer, Company E, 1st Bn., 68th Armor Reg., 3rd AAB, 4th Inf. Div., checks the wind speed using a wind gauge as part of preflight checks in preparation for launching the RQ-16A Tarantula Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle.
