U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Matt Giles, 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, flies the refueling boom of a KC-10 Extender to make contact with his receiver during a refueling mission over Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Nov. 25. The capacity of the KC-10's six fuel tanks carry more than 356,000 pounds of fuel, which is nearly twice as much as the KC-135 Stratotanker.
