Arabian Gulf (Dec. 22, 2006) - Cryptologic Technician (Technical) 3rd Class Brett Moore, throws the heaving line as the guided-missile cruiser USS Anzio (CG 68) pulls into Dubai, one of the seven emirates that comprise the United Arab emirates on the Persian Gulf, Dec. 22. Anzio pulled into Dubai as part of a Moral Welfare and Recreational visit, to allow the crew a few days off from their hard work in the 5th Fleet Area of Operations.. Anzio is currently deployed with USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
