Oregon Air National Guard Tech. Sgt. Tom Rathmann, a sheet metal specialist assigned to the 142nd Fighter Wing Maintenance Group, repairs a C-17 Globemaster III, assigned to the 62nd Air Wing, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., after arriving at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev, June 2, 2017. Without a sheet metal specialist on site for the 62nd AW, Rathmann was able to make the repairs with the necessary training and tools to assist a fellow Pacific Northwest Air Force unit supporting aerial operations at Nellis AFB.
