Marines with Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, test fired and calibrated a variety of heavy weapons during the training. The M2, sometimes called the "Ma Deuce," is the oldest machine gun currently in the Marine Corps' arsenal. BLT 3/5 is currently deployed as the Ground Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. Weapons Company is the heavy-weapons element of BLT 3/5.
