Rear Adm. Jeffrey A. Harley, president, U.S. Naval War College, presents Army Maj. Amanda Del Re, a NWC student, with a graduate certificate in Ethics and Emerging Military Technology (EEMT) during a ceremony held at NWC. The inaugural graduate certificates in EEMT were awarded to four students during the ceremony held at NWC in Newport, Rhode Island. The students will also be awarded master’s degrees from the school at its June 16 graduation. The EEMT graduate certificate program was designed for students seeking an advanced understanding of ethical and military relevance of emerging technologies and how to apply this understanding to the challenges of the modern security environment.
