Petty Officer 2nd Class Scott Lawrence, a builder, Petty Officer 3rd Class Michael Soukup, a construction electrician, and Seaman Summer Heritier, a construction electrican, from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 repair a piece of gym equipment inside of NMCB 3's cardio gym here in Camp Leatherneck. NMCB 3 is deployed to Southern Afghanistan to provide construction and engineering support to the regional commanders. NMCB 3 is part of the Navy Expeditionary Comabat Command's warfighting support elements, providing construction operations and security in support of overseas contingency operations.
